As a student studying to become a teacher, I have learned how important communicative tools of ICT are in modern education. These tools allow people to share information and ideas easily. Some common examples are email, messaging apps, video calls, discussion forums, and platforms like Google Classroom or Zoom. In our ICT class, I learned that there are two types of communication using ICT: synchronous and asynchronous. Synchronous communication means people interact at the same time. For example, Zoom meetings or live chats allow students and teachers to talk instantly. I have joined online classes on Zoom where the teacher explains the lesson, and we can ask questions right away. It feels like a real classroom experience, just online. Asynchronous communication, on the other hand, happens at different times.
